Papa Jake's has been crafting quality rocking horses for more than 15 years. Their traditional rocking horses are always in style and in demand! They are hand-crafted in the Missouri Ozarks out of American pine. A life long midwesterner, Mickey Paul graduated with a B.A. in chemistry, worked in sales, and in 1986 began working with Papa Jake's Woodshop. Mickey lives in a country Missouri Ozark setting with his wife Rita, daughter Erin, and son Sean. Woodworking had long been a much loved hobby and now has become his vocation. He has worked to build a simple but universally appealing line of pine rocking horses. All of his products use American materials and labor. He operates an environmentally responsible business in both supply procurement and production.
