Antique Glazed Leather:

DeBon The elegance of this leather, which makes it suitable for the finest accessories and business cases, is achieved without compromising the natural look of the skin.

This leather's real name, "Florence," is derived from the famous city in the hills of Tuscany where it is produced. Centuries of tanning tradition have made this area the most renowned in the world for the production of the finest leather. Only the highest quality Italian raw material is selected to highlight its natural grain and character.

Antique Glazed Hide is tanned in wood drums using only natural, environmentally-friendly vegetable products. Time is the essential ingredient of this process. Every skin is individually hand-stained following the natural grain of the leather. Several layers of aniline dye are applied by hand with sponges to reach a deep multitone look.

The result is a rich, antiqued leather which is also very durable and scratch resistant. The transparency of the finish makes the skin "come alive". Emphasis on natural beauty makes each piece unique.
